Five Masters of Death

Hu Te and others escape the burning Shaolin temple following its destruction by Qing soldiers in Shaolin Temple. The group of five decides to create secret codes to locate kindred patriots, enroll those patriots, and finally reunite to go to the south and away from the Qings, as well as to identify the traitor who sold out Shaolin monastery. Ma Fu Yi (the traitor, portrayed by Wang Lung Wei) joins the Qing's elite fighters in an effort to destroy the rebels, but Ma Chao-Tsing betrays him and is kidnapped by Ma Fu Yi. Hu joins forces with a group of Shaolin men secretly disguised as bandits in order to rescue Ma, resulting in the bandits joining the rest of the Shaolin patriots.
